She joined our team in May 2019 and has truly enjoyed meeting and caring for everyone as well as watching your fur babies grow. Her favorite part of the job is hearing all the unique and creative names you come up with and earning your pets' trust. She is a mom of 2 Australian Shepherds, 5 cats, and 2 teenagers. She enjoys cooking, family time, hiking, planting, and reading comics and books.

Megan

Megan

Megan has a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee. She worked with us full time for several years and now works for the Health Department full time (and provides us with our rabies tags!). We are so happy that she still joins us from time to time to help cover shifts. In her free time, Megan likes to fish, cook, read, and spend time with her family.

Tilhinha

Tilhinha

Veterinary Staff

After working for 50 years in the "human" medical field and not ready to be a lady of leisure, we are thrilled to have Tilhinha join our team in 2024! She is originally from the Azores islands in the Atlantic Ocean and came to the states at age 2. She has lived in Rogersville during several different time frames and has decided to make it her last stop before retirement. The most exotic animal she has cared for was a fawn whose mother was killed on the highway — she cared for "Bucky" before taking her to a wildlife rescue.

Zachary

Zachary

Zachary joined our team in 2024. Working in warehouse logistics and inventory for years, he decided it was time for a complete change — his love for animals brought him to us. His family is his number one hobby with Lego building a close second! His fondness for the outdoors and history also keeps him in both the woods and in the libraries.
